Information on Kahelelani shells

Started the day with a little rain that resulted in a beautiful rainbow here on our Garden Isle. Just received a very nice selection of Kahelelani shells, brilliant both in color and quality. I am so excited to get to work on some new ideas that I have been kicking around in my head for quite some time now.

This new batch of Kahelelani shells are from a beach we typically do not have access to. Every beach is unique and the same can be said for the shells derived from each beach. Sheen and thickness of the shells are dependent on the water, sand, waves and distance traveled from their origination. This new batch of shells are very thick, very shiny and of a quality necessary to create Hawaiian heirloom jewelry for our most discerning of clientele. They are MUCH more difficult to work with (harder to poke the holes!) but I am more than up for the challenge!

Please keep an eye out for my latest additions @ www.janjirarities.com. If you have any questions or would like to know more about Kahelelani shells and/or this craft, please see the information / education section on my website. If you need even more information, please don't hesitate to ask!

Have a safe and wonderful weekend,
Janjira
